About Charlene

My name is Charlene and the magic of Walt Disney World® goes way back for me! Back far enough to remember The Wonderful World of Disney movies on Sunday night. My first trip came as a teenager long before MGM, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or even Epcot® existed! I will never forget approaching The Magic Kingdom® Park aboard the ferry boat, watching the castle get closer and closer! Nor that first walk down Main Street, U.S.A.®. I relive it every time I go back! It was a dream come true!

Back in the day - well the 80's and early 90's our family traveled to Orlando many times to visit Grandma and Grandpa. I remember thinking back then what a shame it was that it took numerous trips Walt Disney World® before we learned how to make the most of our time and money! My husband John and I have been married for 24 years. We met in high school and have been together ever since! We have 3 children and began homeschooling in 1998. Now here I am still visiting Walt Disney World® and putting those "back in the day" experiences along with new ones to work for YOUR Magical Vacation!

As a 3D Travel Company Specialist I do exactly that! Once you contact me we will begin planning your very own magical vacation. Walt Disney World® is 47 square miles, 4 unique Theme Parks, 2 separate Water Parks, a 120 acre shopping, dining and entertainment mecca and recreational options galore! The perfect place for a Magical Meltdown if you don't go with some type of plan!

Besides the scope of Walt Disney World® there is the 'lingo', the acronyms and those pesky ins and outs. DDP, ME, EMH, DHS and the list goes on. Sure you could head out to the library or get on-line to find out what they mean OR you could just ask ME and I'll be glad to fill you in, so before you step foot on property you'll feel like an expert!

One thing I really enjoy doing is finding out what is going to make this vacation the most magical Disney trip ever!

Trips to Walt Disney World® are fantastic but also consider a unique and special trip. In 2007 my Sister and I planned a Princess Trip with our daughters during The Ultimate Field Trip! This was indeed a trip of a lifetime for the 4 of us!

When was your first visit to a Disney Park and how old were you?
My first visit was between my Junior and Senior years in high school I was 16 years old.

What keeps you coming back?
Just thinking about Disney makes me smile- all the wonderful memories I’ve had there over the years. Every year is different – my first awestruck moments as a teen, exploring the Magic Kingdom® Park with my little boys, and years later with my teen daughter. There’s the Princess Trip we took with my sister and niece, the training trips I’ve had as an agent, the time my husband and I spent one precious day at Epcot® alone when the kids were young (thanks Mom), watching my daughters friend discover the magic of Disney for the first time when we brought her, riding the Pirates of the Caribbean® Attraction with my niece over and over when she was too little for the "mountains". The Ultimate Field Trip! I can’t wait to see familiar families and meet the new ones this year! I really could go on and on...

What is your favorite part about making dreams come true for your clients?
I really enjoy helping them plan the whole trip – I love listening to what they are "wishing" for and then helping make those wishes come true. Disney World® is as much about the adults going as it is the children. I’ll never forget listening as one Mom told me how she told her husband she really wanted to meet Tigger and he laughed and told her FAT CHANCE.  Guess what – YEP she met Tigger at The Crystal Palace for dinner one night! Many families get lost in the details and end up just going and losing out on those special moments – I love finding out what they are going to be and doing my best to create a little magic for them – sometimes it’s before they even leave home with arranging their itineraries and sometimes it’s helping them plan special celebrations for their loved ones once they get there.

What do you look forward to between visits?
The heat! LOL – well to know me is to know I am always on the chilly side – Walt Disney World® – in September has always been nice and warm! I live in Indiana and it’s normally not nice and warm.
Seriously – the magic of it all. I really cannot walk down Main Street, U.S.A.® without this awesome feeling of happiness overcoming me!

What’s your favorite Disney snack?
Tough question – Lately I’ve been thinking about the Jalapeño Stuffed Pretzel found at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.

What’s your favorite Disney attraction?
Pirates of the Caribbean® Attraction

What’s your favorite Disney resort?
I guess it would have to be Disney's Pop Century Resort. I’ve stayed at many other resorts but when I think about Walt Disney World® I can’t help but think about Disney's Pop Century Resort, besides my own comfy bed at home I’ve spent the most nights there so it’s like a second home to me!
