My name is Kim VanDevender and I have the best job in the world! Besides being a wife, mother, and homeschooler, I am a Magical Travel Specialist for 3D Travel Company. That means I get to help you plan your dream Disney vacation. Leave all the stress to me - all you need to do is have fun.

I love everything about Disney! I grew up watching The Wonderful World of Disney on television, dreaming of the day I could finally visit this magical place. That dream came true as a teenager when I made my first trip to Walt Disney World® with my high school band. There were only two parks then, and Epcot® was new. In 2002 I was able to travel with my husband and children for the first time, and we were hooked! We have been returning to Walt Disney World® regularly since then. It is the little things that keep us going back. From the kindness of the cast members to the details in the architecture, there is always something new to experience.

In my years of traveling to Walt Disney World® I have stayed at many different resorts, from value to moderate to deluxe, enjoyed the dining plan, and experienced different seasons and crowd levels. We have also experienced the wonder of a Disney cruise. If you haven’t tried a cruise, I highly recommend it! From fantastic food to fabulous shows, Disney Cruise Line® has something for everyone in the family.

When was your first visit to a Disney Park and how old were you?
My first visit was to Walt Disney World® in 1983. I was 15 years old and traveled with my high school band.

What keeps you coming back?
The outstanding service Disney cast members provide their guests. They make you feel like you are the most important person there, and that everything is special just for you. I also love all the attention to the little details. I notice something new every time I visit.

What is your favorite part about making dreams come true for your clients?
I love the excitement my clients feel as they plan their trip and that I get to share that excitement with them! I can’t wait to hear all about their vacation and the special times they experienced. When a client experiences the Disney magic for the first (or third, or one hundredth) time it makes my day!

What do you look forward to between visits?
Between visits I love to keep up with the latest refurbishments and additions going on at Disney. There is always something new or different to look forward to, so it keeps the excitement going as I plan our next trip!

What's your favorite Disney snack?
The Mickey Mouse Ice Cream bar! I have to have at least one each trip. OK, usually more than one!

What's your favorite Disney attraction?
It is hard to only pick one favorite attraction! I guess it would have to be The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. The weightless feeling is fantastic, and it is never the same ride twice!

What's your favorite Disney resort?
My favorite Disney resort is Wilderness Lodge. As a family we love to camp and enjoy the great outdoors, and Disney brings that wonderful outdoor feel to Wilderness Lodge. That is my kind of camping!
