Growing up, the travel bug bit me as my family traveled throughout the United States on summer vacations. My first Disney visit was on our family trip to California during my 10th summer, at a time when Disneyland was the only Disney destination. After college, my enjoyment of travel led to a career as a travel agent, making another Disneyland visit as well as trips to many other destinations. As a leisure agent booking cruises, tours, and airline tickets, I relished finding good deals for clients. During 12 years as a full-time travel agent, the whole world beckoned with travels far and wide, including two trips to Walt Disney World.

Within a few years of marrying John, our family size increased by two kids! I chose to be a stay-at-home mom, putting my love of travel on hold for awhile. Our homeschool adventure began when Andrea (now 16) began kindergarten, continuing with Matthew (now 13). In 2007, we joined other homeschoolers on The Ultimate Field Trip at Walt Disney World. We enjoyed staying at Pop Century, and it was fun to try out as many of the restaurants as possible, soaking in information about Walt Disney World.

An invitation to join the 3D Travel team was dropped in my lap, and with the kids getting older, the timing seemed right to jump back into the travel business, this time specializing in Disney. During the College of Disney Knowledge graduate training course in January 2008, I enjoyed exploring with the 3D Travel team and on my own, checking out the four parks, DisneyQuest, Typhoon Lagoon, Downtown Disney, and tour many of the resorts as well as a Disney Cruise Line ship. During our training trip, I was also able to spend time in some of my favorite dining places such as Boma and the new Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom.

Being a Disney travel specialist gives me the wonderful 'chore' of checking out different things at Walt Disney World, continually learning more about 'The World' to help you have the most magical trip ever! The many decisions involved in a Disney trip can be overwhelming, but I can help you with all the choices, and make your planning a breeze!
