Yes, he bought the ring. He actually probably bought the ring in September. I'm supposing how Ever, I have been traveling for work. My husband had been traveling for work. So we were kind of like ships, passing and the night here at home. And I just so happened to be back in my office. Uh, the one evening, my husband was still out of town and I think wanting to tell us was just like eating my son up and he's like, Mom. I have to tell you something, he said, can you FaceTime dad? We facetimed my husband and he's like, you know, it's been a couple of weeks. I can't get you two at home together. Same time and he said, I have to tell you what I did. He said he bought Mariah a ring. I'm like like you put it on layaway or something or he's like no, no I bought it. I just went and I bought it. He had it sized already to her ring size and everything. So yeah he had it and he was ready to go. He

Adam is he's a health and visit teacher at private Catholic School in our area. He's just always been a kind young man. I love him. Obviously Mariah She's she's the girl that we've prayed for like, you pray for it and then There she was, it's like, oh This is the face. This is the one we prayed for, she's gentle, she's kind, she's sweet tender-hearted.

So it's very hard to reconcile that she's in that race car from her personality, because she is so sweet. And so quiet, But that's her and we love her and he loves her. That's the most important thing. He loves her, he adores her and we do too,
we're leaving um 6 a.m. Monday, June 10th, road tripping, to Disney. We're looking forward to some fun time. We have a big Disney playlist, uh, when the ready to go, that we listen to whenever we take long road trips.

Actually, I used to look out the window she looks at them out the window they wave at her, they honk their horns at her. We've gotten lots of laughs, we have lots of laughs in the process, it helps the time pass and um yeah, she's the best seven dollars we ever spent.

Um my daughter. She saw it in a bin, she's like, we have to get this, dad, please. Can I get this? She's like, yeah. So her first big trip with us. Was to the Outer Banks, waving to people staring at people. She ended up in some beds, scaring people. So, She just lost the good things, we're arriving Tuesday, their proposal is Wednesday morning and then we're just going to spend the rest of the trip celebrating.

I’ve already experienced everything, I would want to experience. Alone already in life and I'm ready to experience the rest of my life with someone else. I can't wait for for everyone to see it and kind of recapture and relive the moments. We got to uh living and enjoy these next couple days. I guess it's time to celebrate together and and count down to the wedding and then celebrate that day together.

No, I really thought he would write about something. He's, he was the best man in his one of his best friend's weddings, and he wrote this beautiful speech. But for this, he said, I'm just gonna say what I feel at the time. Wow. Okay. Pretty cool sounds romantic. Yeah.

Yeah. Now I Nobody thought to ask what did you say? Adam. But Mariah must have liked it because she said, yes. She was kind of as we talked about it a little bit in disbelief that all of this had been transpiring for months and months. You knew, you knew about this, like her mom, kept this secret for five months and her mom's like I never kept a secret that long, the night that we all arrived. We sent them to Disney Springs the next day. She said, why wonderful you were so quiet when we went to Disney Springs and she said and add away and said you, why are you so fine? Is there something wrong? Uh, He's like no I was just thinking I was just, you know, thinking about what I was. He was like in the zone. But they've actually already started drawing around some possible dates right now, they're thinking September of 2026 so we'll see if that sticks. My mom and dad got them. This cute little book to write their story in and how their engagement went wedding planning, dating how that went. So they both already, you know, they started working on that and when we checked in, I Actual Charlie at the front desk but he asked if we were having any other celebrations and I told him that we were having this engagement the next day at Magic Kingdom and he was very excited about it and said, okay we want to do something with Adam's favorite treat from Disney with Mariah's. Favorite treat is told me that he actually proposed to his wife in front of Cinderella Castle as well. So he was just really excit About it. And yeah, and he said we're gonna have a gift delivered tomorrow night. He said we won't do it until, you know, in the evening and it was in the room waiting Rice, Krispie treats and gummies and pins and cards. So it was it was really nice magical moment for sure. We walked up Main Street and got a really good spot to watch the happily ever after fireworks and Tinkerbell took flight at the And yeah, that's how we capped off our night.

Everything's a surprise here. Everything's a secret, everything's like crazy. So we have like a big uh screen that we set up outside. Like it's an inflatable screen to do outdoor movies. Whenever this video goes live, we're actually going to get our family together and we're going to watch it together outside. And that'll be the first time that they're all seeing it. And the first time that Mariah knows about it fabass.
