Greetings from West Texas! My name is Melissa McQuien and I’m an advisor with 3D Travel. I also have the privilege of being the wife to an outstanding husband and the mother of three amazing young women.

If you have ever had the pleasure of visiting our fair part of the world you might have noticed that while the people are great, it doesn’t have the most alluring landscape. I’ve always counted this as a bonus because it meant that almost anywhere we went was exciting and had something new to inspire us.

As a family we have been fortunate enough to ice skate at the Tower of London at Christmas, see a mama bear and her cubs at Yellowstone, become the (self proclaimed) Disney Trivia Masters on a Disney Wish cruise, visit Mickey and Mini at their Disney World Home and fly the halls of Hogwarts at Universal Studios. We have been blessed with those and many more family adventures.

As my girls became self reliant, my husband and I began traveling more with different sets of friends. Part of the fun has been the diversity. We have friends who love an adventure and want to be constantly going and doing, while another group is content to lounge by the pool enjoying the sun and whatever the waiter brings them. Some want every minute of their trip planned while others like to “wing it” and see where the day takes them.
