Your FIRST Step!
You dared to dream of a new adventure, and if you follow the steps, it's just a matter of time before you will find out if you're a member of the best team out there. Here is some good news - follow the instructions and bring the best version of yourself, and you are VERY likely to get the offer you're hoping for!
You will have 3 items to submit - an application, personal recommendations, and a test. Personal recommendations can take the longest, and we recommend you request those first. The actual process of submitting a recommendation is very short - it's waiting on others that can be the longest part! You need at least three people to give you a good reference to receive a contract offer. Yes, volunteer positions can be a source of referral, but we ask you do not use family members as a reference. To submit a review, your referrals will need to visit a page on our website and follow the instructions. We've even written up the paragraph below for you to cut and paste into an email or message.
Hello, friend/co-worker!
I've decided to apply to be part of 3D Travel and need your help to make my dream a reality. I have a limited time to get all my paperwork in and this includes three references. Would you please do me the honor of providing a reference by visiting their website and filling out a form? It will only take a few minutes, and it would mean a lot to me!

Thank you,
Future 3D Travel Team Member
After you've read all the steps to join the team, and if you decide to move forward, we recommend you start sending requests. In the meantime, here is some information to help you understand what it's like to build, maintain, and ultimately thrive in the travel business.
Let's talk about commitment!
Important: As an Independent Contractor, you are contracted to sell vacations. Your terms include the requirements to uphold the reputation of 3D Travel and the vendors we represent as you do so. The timeline and tools are entirely at your discretion if those terms are met.
Your minimum commitment is keeping up with correspondence, following through in caring for any clients you have, and continuing education. Your correspondence will involve initiating and returning emails and phone calls. Client care will involve planning and facilitating their vacations. And, of course, you will advocate for them in many ways with research, problem-solving, and consultations.
A recommended minimum commitment without clientele is recommended at least 20 hours a week as you build your book of business. Once you have repeat and referral OR traveling clients, the good news is they keep you educated, and your Continuing Education becomes something that happens naturally, instead of something you have to maintain on your own.
Then there is the maximum commitment, which is for those who want to make a living at this and become a top agent, able to experience future opportunities and break into new sales brackets. These are the people who will look at every training as an opportunity and every marketing plan as something to be tackled until they have so many generations of clientele that they need to hire an office assistant!
Most of you will fall somewhere in between, and the genius of the 3D structure is that everyone can fit into the plan. I would encourage you; however, if the minimum requirement of training and communication is more than you can imagine yourself doing, then it's probably best to wait until another season in your life. The agents who stepped forward and went out on a limb are being amply rewarded. Ultimately, the choice is up to you.
