There are fewer places more magical than Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.
We fell in love with this resort before it was even built and every visit just makes our passion grow deeper.

Cabana Bay takes retro to a new level.  Historic cars line the drive before you enter and step back in time, except it's a cleaner and happier time.  The similarities to roadside motels end when you feel the carpet between your toes in your room and as you sneak out in the hallway to go knock on your friend's doors to see what they're cooking in their mini kitchen.

Storage is everywhere, including a closet and hidden drawers.  The mattresses are plush and - wait for it - there are plenty of outlets!  Like the other Lowe's resorts on Universal property, the designers are paying attention and actually provide what a traveler needs and wants on vacation.  It's a breath of fresh air.

More retro happens in the bathrooms with toiletries from a simpler time.  You'll want to bring your swimsuit for the beach that goes on forever and water features beyond compare in a "value" resort that is more luxurious than we knew to expect, especially considering it's one of the best deals in the area.

A Starbucks is in the lobby with a FULL menu.  Around the corner from Starbucks is a humongous food court with more retro - this time in the form of giant screens showing cartoons and newsreels.  It's so much fun to dine on your very own CYO Salad or other quick food options.  Our celiac kids have dined there multiple times and haven't been gluten once.  The staff took great care of their dietary needs.  Some of you reading this will know what an incredible gift that is!

When you're ready to go to the parks, you'll step out the front door and take the cutest bus ever.  You'll be dropped off just downstairs from the moving sidewalk below Universal CityWalk.  Ride up the elevator or escalator and glide along until you enter the gateway to shops, restaurants and both Universal Orlando parks.

We've stayed at the 4 resorts on property (Sapphire Falls is still being built as I write this) and we enjoy each for a different reason.  We stayed at a slower time, so we didn't miss the front of the line access that staying at the other 3 resorts would have provided, but since we went during the off season, it wasn't a problem.  We got in early to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and maximized that each day of our stay.  Your 3D Travel Agent can help you do the same thing when you book.  And don't forget Shutterbuttons!

A family of 4 can easily enjoy any standard room.  As a family of 5 we really loved our suite.  Internal corridors, securely lighted spaces, sand vollyball, games on the grounds, pool, an arcade - oh!  And did I mention the bowling alley?  Maybe we'll go back sometime and just do the resort!  No parks required.  But then Hannah would have missed out on Butterbeer.

Contact your 3D Travel Agent to book your trip to Universal's Cabana Bay Resort or email us at the home office - Info@3DTravelCompany.com.  We'd love to help!
